What's new in May
Hey there everyone. Just hanging out and thought I would write a post to update you on Steve. I'm still playing disc golf. Still enjoying my family. Looking forward to nice weather for spring and summer. I changed the oil in my truck today and adjusted the ignition timing. It runs like a top now. Last weekend I built a small fence like structure by our back entrance to hide the hose reel, electrical box, phone box, etc. Work is going well. You need to click the read more link below to see the rest of this post. I had my annual review last week at work and it went real well! Lorraine and I have taught grade school at Compass the past two weeks and had fun with the kids. I shaved off my mustache for a change tonight. I hate the feeling when you first shave something that is used to having hair on it for such a long time. I got a Tivo/HD for my birthday last month and I love some of the cool features and the great quality HD I can now watch at my own pace. If you don't have a DVR you are so missing out! I had two flat tires on my truck this week a couple days apart. I played disc golf at Pier Park on Wednesday with two guys I don't normally play with. I managed two birdies for the night. The first came on an 80 foot approach shot which ended up being a putt and the second was the result of a perfect drive with a drop in putt. Unfortunately I also had two double boogies. I am repainting the front screen/security door a dark bronze color. Lorraine decided the powder blue didn't look good on the front of the house. Getting permission to create a disc golf course in a city/county park is a pain in the butt! Bureaucracy reigns. Clinton and Obama were both in Portland today. The political ads on TV tonight were incessant. I think Lorraine is playing DDR with the boys downstairs right now. Spencer is participating in the Amazing Race with East Park and Compass Youth this weekend. Cameron has a special plan to celebrate his one year anniversary of being with Kate tomorrow. Riley is stuck at home with Mom & Dad. I have a couple guys coming over to watch NASCAR tomorrow night. I think we are going to go to the evening service at Compass on Sunday (Mother's Day).
